DJ Mints connected his life with music at the end of 2004 when he and his friend Dmitri start up Denver&Mints project. At that moment the main direction was progressive house with its spherical sounds, various strings and magnetic groove. While creating their own style the choice of records for compilations and play in a clubs was getting narrowed and Denver&Mints started to work on their own creations. In 2005 a significant step forward was the meet of Hernan Cattaneo approval, one of the world top Djs. Since that moment when Hernan played the first track of Denver&Mints he had not missed and any of their new works. After his appreciation the creative work of the project was supported by such famous Djs as Deep Dish, Dj Sultan, Dj Tarkan, Nicholas Van Ortan, Deepmariano, dPen and others.

Since 2006 Denver&Mints has their own show in the popular internet radio in America, http://www.friskyradio.com. The concept of the show was changing during the time and today it is a program which goes on the air 2 times in a month with the regional djs' community or musical labels as guests of the show.

Valery begun his way to the world of electronic music not as a usual DJ who interests were only money and glory. Being the psychologist, he started to study psychology of electronic music, its influence on consciousness of people, from inside. At that time the music education taken in the childhood came very opportunely. Personal contact with the Russian and foreign DJs, musicians and producers allowed Valery to study deeply enough this phenomenon, and he has not missed the possibility to realise his research potential of the psychologist. His desire to play and to produce his own music has proved to be a natural phenomenon, thereby to give people deeper understanding of electronic music. In the process of careful research he developed his own unique style. It is reflected in each set he plays as he always knows beforehand what exactly public wants. Nickname Esprit Fort was chosen not accidentally. Esprit Fort (french - "freethinker", "independent mind") completely reflects his attitude and understanding of the life meaning, constant desire to show " far side of the Moon ". Having heard Esprit Fort's play, people, preferring other styles, fall in love with his sounding, opening for themselves something that was in a shade before. At the moment Dj Esprit Fort, beside performances, concentrated on music production.
