DJ Daemia (Pavla Mijic) was born in 1981 in Split, Croatia. While being in primary school she learned to play the acoustic guitar. Hearing Bach's Air one day on a regular music class in primary school first struck her cord and from that moment on she knew she had to be a part of musical realm in any way possible. During her childhood electronic music scene started developing and spreading in Croatia and she immediately fell in love with that new and exciting kind of music. She has been following electronic music scene and music production from its early beginnings.

Her DJ-ing path started quite spontaneously. After hearing about a DJing section in a local student club KSET where she occasionally hung out, she instinctively applied. There she had her first contact with the wonderful world of turntables, CD players, mixers and quickly developed the necessary skills. From that moment on, every thought was beatmatched, every step was in sync with music. She gained further experience by playing in clubs and on parties in Croatia and nearby countries with periodical residencies in several Zagreb clubs.

With a desire for promoting quality progressive and tech house music, she initiated Free Your Mind party series with her brother (DJ Indigo). Her music style is mainly techy progressive and minimal tech house but she loves and follows a wide range of music styles and genres. In each set and mix she tries to tell a certain story with its blending beginning, culmination and end, not rarely combining eclectic and diverse music styles and sounds which somehow fit together.

Apart from her musical interests, she works in the banking industry and has graduated Business Informatics on the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb, but her true passion remains only - music.
