Frisky's New Ground is aimed at introducing new artists and elements within the progressive dance and electronic fields of music. It is a means of opening new doors, new heights, unique and even strange sounds which will favour not only the listener, but the endless amounts of talented and unknown artitst out there. The show will be hosted by Max Gueli. Max will also take the opportunity to showcase his latest selection of tunes in his record box, by mixing the selected compositions for the delight of Frisky fans around the world.

Max Gueli is an Italian (South African born) Producer and DJ based in Rome, Italy. He began his musical career as a small time DJ based in Stellenbosch and Cape Town for organized venues and local bars/pubs at the age of 17. At 21 he moved his skills to Europe and eventually to the UK, where at 23 he began to learn the realms of sound engineering and music production. At 26 he decided to leave England and return to Rome to further his production skills and has been based there even since.
Max's love for Progressive House began in the early days Sasha and John Digweed's Northern Exposure series, enjoying the fine elements of blending melodic sounds with harsh percussive grooves. His passion has driven him to endless heights in the music world, with no intention of stopping just yet. He also works on other side projects, including Soundtracks for a underwater sea documentary programmed called Aquapix.
Currently, Max has two releases on Frisky Records, as well as other published tunes on Bonzai Records, Free Pea Recordings and Coldharbour Recordings.
