GASTON LATERZA

Since he was 14, Gaston Laterza has been deeply influenced by electronic music, bands such as Depeche Mode, New Order, Duran Duran, Kraftwerk, Pink Floyd and many others. At this early age, he started playing at small local pubs, getting his first interactions with the crowds. In 1995, he gets his first gig at a club, playing stuff from the likes of Tony Humphries, Frankie Knuckles, Graeme Park and Danny Tenaglia.

Since then, he got quite a few gigs in well known underground clubs in Argentina, such as Puente Mitre, Vai-Ven, Enigma and Back Stage, until he got his first residency at Umanno, where he played classic house, deep house and retro disco. On 2005, Gaston starts getting mixes broadcasted on Proton Radio's "Featured Artist", StudioPhonic's "Terra Firma", Frisky Radio's "Cloud 9 Mix Sessions", Ksk Radio's "Kozmic3 special guest" and X4's "Warm up" among others.

Nowadays, Gaston is very focused on producing and his first tracks are to be released on Fiberline Audio Recordings. These tracks are constantly supported by Hernan Cattaneo on his weekly radio show "Resident" on Metrodance Buenos Aires, by Martin Garcia on his show "Mainroom" also on Metrodance, and by Jose Luis Gabin, on his show "Warm up" on X4 Radio Buenos Aires to name a few.

He plays sets that are a combination of progressive house, deep techno and deep trance in some of Buenos Aires' and the rest of Argentina's finest venues and will soon be including software into these mixes using "Ableton Live"
