Stian Klo, aka 'Likwit' was born in Harstad, Norway in 1980. Music was present 24/7 as he explored the many genres the scene had to offer. After moving to Oslo at the age of 19, he quickly established himself as a DJ, while working for a local record store, pushing both records and technical equipment. His preferred style is progressive house, but still quite melodic and driving. Don't be surprised if you catch him playing breaks or even techno, making him a very versatile DJ.
Stian is probably better known to you as one of the residents on the famous "Oslo Nights" radio show together with Elusive (Lars Jacobsen). The radio show has received amazing feedback so far, with lots of established DJs/producers appearing on air. "Oslo Nights" has teamed up with XM Radio and WorldSpace in the US making the future look very promising.
Fall/winter 2004 promises gigs in the US, Romania, Poland, UK, Canada, Egypt, Slovakia, Holland, Turkey and a tour of Australia as well as numerous guest appearances on radio shows around the globe. If you're in Oslo, drop by venues such as Sikamikanico, Cube Club, John Dee or Nomaden to hear him play.
On the production side of things, Stian is working closely with the likes of Espen Gulbrandsen, Özgür Can, Thomas Nĝkling (Manipura) and Elusive so keep your eyes peeled for forthcoming releases on 3Beat Music, Precinct, Baroque, Vapour, Lost Language and more. His productions/collaborations under the aliases Furry Nipples (with Özgür Can), LikWit, Seyton (with Thomas Nĝkling) and Espen & Stian (with Espen Gulbrandsen) have seen massive support from the likes of John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, GPal, Armin van Buuren, Max Graham, Subsky, Nikola, and lots more!
