By the rate this young musician is developing the sky is the limit. Barely 20 years of age, Gomez, full name Anestis Seferiades, has managed to achieve far more than could be expected of him. Born in Athens, Greece in the summer of 1986, I wouldnt be surprised if he was able to beat match before he could walk! In 2000 Gomez moved to Cyprus where he still resides to this day. Growing up he was influenced by 70s and 80s rock music and gradually he got into dance music and the djing side of it. At the young age of 17, Gomez set out to establish himself as a dj in the Cyprus dance scene. Never one to lack in neither confidence nor persistence, perhaps due to his upbringing in Athens, Gomez started to make his mark. He started playing at various clubs such as Club D, Red & Treno among others and was also given his first radio show by the local radio station Mix 102.3 FM. His weekly, one-hour radio show, called City House with Gomez, earned him even more popularity as his catchy groovy electronic sounds were spread even further. In the past year Gomez DJ career has really taken off, as he has established himself as one of the best DJ's on the island, for many the very best! His unique sound and amazing DJ skills (in both his mixing and playing with effects) made him a crowd favourite and as a result he guests regularly at parties all around the island and also played alongside world-renowned DJ's such as James Zabiela, Desyn Masiello, Dean Coleman, Christian Cambas & G-Pal but to name a few. In June 2005 he was the Winner of the Smirnoff Experience Radio Show for Best Radio 92.6 FM Greece, which was hosted by Anna Maria X. As his reputation grew Gomez made appearances on various other international radio stations such as Etn FM & Galaxie FM (France). The beginning of 2006 found him winner of the 3rd Best DJ of Cyprus as voted by the clubbers all over the country. His own radio show is reaching new heights as he switched to a new station Energy 107.6 FM which broadcasts throughout the island. He now has a 2 hour show in which he has hosted more than 50 guest mixes from renowned DJ's such as Chris Fortier, Locodice, Paolo Mojo,Chris Lake, Danny Howells,Low End Specialists, Lexicon Avenue,Deep Dish, Shiloh, King Unique, Audiofly, Rob Mooney, Mashtronic, James Talk, Max Graham and many more .. In 2005 he also managed his first international appearance when he appeared in London at Gallery in Turnmills. San Fransisco based ,prestiguous net radio,Frisky, featured him as the Artist of the Week in May 2006 as well. Gomez is also taking his first steps in music production in collaboration with Christian Cambas with the first single ,Red Lips, heading for the release on Nascent recordings. One of the top performers of his country, his own national Radio Show with guests some of the best DJ's of the world, gigs along side some of world's best artists, producing in partnership with one of the Top 100 DJ's and still in his teens.Gomez has now moved in the United States and more precisely in San Francisco. Immediately he got his own residency at none of the most prestiguous bars of America, Anu , every Tuesday alongside his buddy Walter Batler. The sky is well and truly the limit ..
