NICK WARREN JOINS FRISKYRADIO WITH SOUND GARDEN 11 February 2010
Nick Warren needs no introduction. A true pioneer of the UK and global dance scene, he has been an established DJ and producer for over 20 years. Nick was the original tour dj for Massive Attack and is also a member of the UK band Way Out West with Jody Wisternoff, who also hosts a show here on friskyRadio called Intensified. Nick also has several GU compilations under his belt and regularly tours throughout the world.

Chillout Sundays has long been a friskyRadio staple to close out the week with the best in chillout, ambient and down-tempo mixes from around the world. Due to the increased popularity of Chillout Sundays we will soon be expanding the day into more exclusive shows, and we're starting with Waves. Waves, hosted by chillout favorite Addliss features an hour of the best ambient and melodic soundwaves you can imagine. Monday we have John Creamer making his debut on the station on Nicolas Coronel's show Mestiza Records.
Tuesday we have the incomparable Charlie May along with special guests Bobby Deep, Addliss, and Dave Kurtis on Vogelmann's LIGHTWORKS show. Also on Tuesday we are celebrating our latest release by friskyRadio residents Python, who are also our Artists of the Week!
Wednesday we have Gerardo Boscarino back at the helm with his resident mix for his show De Ushuaia a la Quiaca. Also on Wednesday, the lovely Bee is back kickin' it old skool with a special 2-hour mix for X-Chrome.
Thursday friskyRecords recording artist Max Gueli returns with his show New Ground with his usual deep cinematic progressive sounds.
Friday we welcome back Sultan and Ned Shepard after a long hiatus from the station to host their show Harem Sessions, a special 10-hour edition with special guests!
Saturday we close out the week with the latest destination of our frisky World Tour: friskyRadio Loves Egypt!
TRAFIK IS BACK WITH ANOTHER STAR GAZING THIS THURSDAY 20 January 2010
If you've been with friskyRadio for a while now you know that TRAFIK (of Global Underground Electric Calm fame) run a series here called Star Gazing. Well, they are back with another installment and its only here on friskyRadio! Featuring classics from BT, Duran Duran and Lamb alongside newer tracks such as Yuksek's devastating remix of Moby and Trafik's rather large remix of Elegant Universe "Modern Time" (coming soon on friskyRecords). It also features a previously unheard Trafik remix of the cult anthem "Family Tree" by TV On The Radio.
